Fingering (14 wpi; 4 ply; no 1: Super Fine) yarn such as Alize Bella , 1 ball that is about 50g or 200 yards
Crochet hook US 1.5 (2.5 mm) or to obtain gauge 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 24 sts x 13 rows (in half double crochet)
Contrast color for decorating about 8g or 30 yards total in one or two colors

Cut the yarn leaving a long end, stuff the head and work the last round sc2tog 6 times.
Using your tapestry needle, weave in only on the outer loops of the remaining 6 single crochets.
With darker yarn embroider two dots for eyes and a triangle for nose.
Ears (make 2)
Worked bottom up, after each row – turn! Ch 5.
Row 1: sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in next 3 ch, turn (4)
Row 2: ch 1, 1 sc in each sc, turn (4)
Row 3: ch 1, sc2tog two times Cut the the yarn, fasten off.
With contrast color or main color yarn sc around the round edges and with foundation ch attach the ear to the head.
Ch 4, sl st to first ch.
Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as 1st dc now and later), work 12 dc in ring, sl st to top ch
Round 2: (2 dc in each dc) all around (26 dc)
Round 3: (2 dc in dc, 1 dc in next dc) around (38)
Round 4: (2 dc in dc, 1 dc in next 2 dc) around (50 dc)
Keep increasing like Rounds 3-4 until you have 14 dc-s between the increases (you can add length by working more rounds at this point).
Change to lighter yarn and sc around (keep increasing, 15 dc between the increase stitches).
End the round with sl st and cut the yarn.
Attach the head to the middle of the blanker.
With contrast color ch 7.
Row 1: 1 sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in each next ch, turn (6)
Row 2: 1 sc in each sc, turn (6) Repeat Row 2, once more.
Cut the yarn leaving an extra long end, wrap the yarn around the middle of the piece to make it into a bow.
With the help of your tapestry needle, secure it with few stitches and wrap the yarn few times around the head of the bear attaching the bow front center.
Secure wit few sts and weave in all ends.
