Fingering (14 wpi; 4 ply; no 1: Super Fine) yarn such as Alize Bella , 1 ball that is about 50g or 200 yards 

Crochet hook US 1.5 (2.5 mm) or to obtain gauge 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 24 sts x 13 rows (in half double crochet) 

Tapestry needle 

Contrast color for decorating about 8g or 30 yards total Some filling material

With your main yarn make a magic circle.

Round 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st to ch 

Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12 sc)

Row 1: 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in next 3 ch (4) 

Rows 2 and 3: 1 sc in each sc, turn (4)

Row 4: 1 sc in first sc, (2 sc in next sc) two times, 1 sc in last sc, turn (6) 

Row 5: 1 sc in each sc, turn (6) 

Row 6: 1 sc in next 2 sc, (2 sc in next sc) two times, 1 sc in last 2 sc, turn (8) 

Rows 7, 8, 9, 10: 1 sc in each sc, turn 

Row 11: 1 sc in next 2 sc, (sc2tog) two times, 1 sc in next 2 sc, turn (6) 

Row 12: 1 sc in each sc, turn 

Row 13: 1 sc in next sc, (sc2tog) two times, 1 sc in next sc, turn (4) 

Row 14: 1 sc in each sc, turn 

Row 15: (sc2tog) two times, turn (2) 

Row 16: 1 sc in each sc, turn 

Row 17: sc2tog, turn 

Sc around the ear skipping the 4 stitches on foundation ch, skip straight to the other side of the ear (this will make the ears curve).  

Attach the ears to the head. With darker yarn embroider two dots for eyes and a triangle for nose.
