Materials

DK (11 wpi; 8 ply; no 3: Light) yarn such as Drops Puna about 125/235/275g or 300/565/660 yards 

G/7 (4.5 mm) crochet hook or to obtain gauge 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 17 sts x 9 rows (in double crochet)  

Abbreviations

St(s) – stitch(es) 

Ch – chain 

Dc – double crochet 

Dc3tog – double crochet 3 sts together

This pattern is written in US crochet terms To emphasize the chevron make it in stripes changing color after every other row        

The scarf

Ch 45/59/59 (S/M/L)

Row 1: skip 3 ch (counts as 1st dc), 2 dc in next ch, 1 dc in next 3 ch, (dc3tog) 2 times, *1 dc in next 3 ch, (3 dc in next ch) 2 times, 1 dc in next 3 ch, (dc3tog) 2 times*, repeat from *-* to last 4 ch: 1 dc in next 3 ch, 3 dc in last ch, turn (42/56/56 dc) 

Row 2: ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), 2 dc in first dc, *1 dc in next 3 dc, (dc3tog) 2 times, 1 dc in next 3 dc, (3 dc in next dc) 2 times*. repeat from *-* ending last repeat with 3 dc in turning ch, turn (42/56/56 dc) Repeat Row 2 until the scarf measures 45/65/75” (114/165/191 cm) or you have reached the desired length.  

Cut the yarn, fasten off and weave in all ends. 

Block and press according to your yarn instructions.
